Went to mojo's right before they closed. We were a party of four and we dined in. The service was friendly and prompt. You order at the counter and they deliver it to your table. VERY REASONABLE!!! The good was great. If in town you definitely want to try this place. I can't remember the name of my sandwich but it was on a hoagie bun with tartar sauce, grilled white fish, fried shrimp smothered in crawfish sauce, and coleslaw. Will eat there before I leave gulf shores.

Counter service. Good selection. Not that impressed with cheese fries. I think it was canned cheese. Prices are very reasonable. Not impressed with the ice cream. Fried shrimp were good. Potato salad was very good

This place was fantastic. Prices were affordable, service was fast, and the good was excellent. Overall, best value in Gulf Shores.

Best restaurant in Gulf Shores, hands down. Quick and easy meal. Everything is under $10, and sososososo delicious! Mostly different variations of fried chicken, grilled and fried chicken, they even had pasta, salad, and wraps. They have ice cream and serve alcohol(beer and daquiris) awesome place for just opening last week! Friendly staff also. I recommend the country fried chicken, it's just like chicken fried chicken with a delicious gravy on top. Their baked potato salad is also so yum!

This place is a hit, great place to eat and many choices for food. The food is always good and the family has a great time. Food is very affordable and they don't raise the prices for the tourists.

Friendly staff...very patient as we 1st timers perused the pleasantly varied menu. I had the Key West chicken sandwich. Grilled chicken breast with grilled pineapple, Mojo sauce (excellent..sweet & slightly spicy), red onions, Romaine lettuce on a delicious bun. Side was delicious baked potato salad. Very filling, very satisfying. Great price. New facility, extremely neat & clean. Plenty of TV's. Good music.

Great place to eat, great atmosphere and customer service. Excellent prices. Best ice cream in town. I would definitely go back again if I'm in the area.

I was pretty disappointed in their delivery. Being as I live here I was super excited to see a new delivery place! The girl was totally ignoring me on the phone to joke around with her coworkers, didn't even care enough to put me on hold just let me listen to the whole conversation. Had to ask me 3 times if it was for pick up or delivery. Asked me another three times to repeat my order, chicken tenders and hot wings. I will say the order came very quickly, granted I live across the street! Everything was correct except my portion. Hot chicken tenders and plain wings.. Really? I am not one to have a place re deliver me new food. I know they don't want to come all the way back, walk up the stairs and deal with an upset person. But she asked me THREE times!!! I had to call, when she answered she totally new it was me and new the right order so thankfully she had gotten it right. The kitchen mixed it up. I work at a restaurant, these things happen, oh well. But then she asked me to give back the old food. I wasn't going to eat all if that but it just kind of seemed rude after everything else they had ensued. Food was mediocre. I think if I ate there in person and it was fresh it would probably be decent. Delivery was not a good idea for this place :(

Very good for the price and convenience. We got a mahi sandwich with pineapple - excellent. Also the yaya jambalaya with a cheese sauce. Sounds odd but was very good. Sides are varied like red beans and rice. Everything is under $10 and honestly was better than some local joints that are $20 and up. We would go back!

The crab bites were amazing. Like mini crab cakes. And the price was affordable. I didn't see anything over $10.

Bigger than it looks on the outside. I went with the cashier's recommendation and had the Mozilla with mac 'n cheese for a side. It was awesome! The Mozilla is a blackened fish with"hot" shrimp sandwich topped with slaw. I had to eat it with a fork as it was overflowing with ingredients. The slaw blended perfectly with the fish and shrimp. The fish was quite tasty but the shrimp really made the meal. My nephew stole a couple of shrimp from my plate and he immediately began planning his dinner trip back to Mojo's. The mac n cheese was very good too. The shrimp was probably similar in heat to a medium buffalo sauce from Hooters. Mojo's just made the rotation for our family visits to Gulf Shores.

If you're looking for a less expensive and less crowded restaurant in Gulf Shores, look no further than MoJo's. It's a fast food type restaurant where you walk up to the counter to order and pay, fix your own drink, have a seat and wait to go back to the counter to pick up your tray. This makes it a great place to stop if you're leaving the beach and not exactly all dressed up for dinner. The food is nothing fancy, but very good. They have a nice selection of seafood and chicken sandwiches, entrees and salads on the menu. I've had the mahi sandwich with pineapple, and the flavor was as good as you would get an any of the pricier restaurants in town. They were a tad bit stingy with the mahi, but it filled me up. I've also had a tangy Island BBQ shrimp poboy, which isn't exactly on the menu, but they said they could put the Island BBQ shrimp on the sandwich when I requested it. Both were delicious and something I will likely order again. My husband got a huge fried chicken sandwich the first time and a grilled chicken sandwich the second time. They were good, but I preferred the fried chicken sandwich as it was bigger and juicier. They also have a great variety of appetizers which we haven't tried. The hubs and I can both eat there for a little over $20, making it a great place to go when we don't want to drop a lot of coin. They also deliver!

  • Shannon S.

They have affordable food in a causal atmosphere that is a bit of a step above most other fast food. The one thing that really irks me here is that they only have mustard in the tiny little irritating packets and I hate those ridiculously small packets. The "Mozilla" sandwich was a decent size but the tarter sauce and slaw would've been better on the side as it made the sandwich slide apart too much. I went to the bathroom and they were a bit too eager to clean up and they threw away my drink cup so I was a bit unhappy with that. Seems that this is a bit of a locals secret and not many tourists frequent this restaurant.

This place is great. I recommend the Rooster sandwich. Excellent! Also the chocolate pecan pie is delicious and as insane as it sounds. I ate in restaurant first and the food came quickly. Later, I tried the online ordering and that's where I had to pull 1 star. I did order at 8:30pm and I was in a condo 15 stories up, but it took 1.5 hours to get here. Granted this is slightly faster than the 100 minute timeframe given by the online order site! The delivery girl was nice at time of delivery and I do like that they use Smart cars to be more Eco-friendly.

Great little spot to walk in order and eat. Between fast food and dine in but the food was better than fast food. Had the Caribbean shrimp salad and it was great. Definitely not as fast as fast food but was worth the wait. Comfortable seating with TV also they do deliver.

We ate here last night. TERRIBLE!! They were busy. The manager on duty allowed an employee to ring up his own food (his order equaling a 20 top) causing my family's to be delayed. I had to take my children to the car because my toddler was starving! I asked the cashier if this was normal and she said yes. The HARDEST working person in the whole place was the Jamaican cashier. She was working her butt off while the employee was in her way!! I will be going back to see if the cashier wants a job at my husband's restaurant but I will NEVER spend my money there again. Oh and by the way, the food is way overpriced for such crap. Their idea of a chocolate pecan pie is just pouring chocolate syrup on top.

Family and I went to Mojos after going to the zoo. This place is very modern and clean. I didn't know what to expect going in. It was all pretty good.

My family and I (4 teens & 2 adults) stayed in Gulf Shores April 6-10. We had dinner at MoJo's on our second night. I had the blackened Mai sandwich with Mac & Cheese, my husband & daughter had the Half a Rooster sandwich with the baked potato salad (very original and tasty). My son tried the Modzilla. Large servings... enough to satisfy hungry teen appetites! We all sampled each other's dishes and everything tasted wonderful! Definitely fresh and prepared to order! Price wasn't overly expensive.... 6 of us ate for $79 with no alcohol. We will most definitely come back to MoJo's the next time we come down!

Mojo's Seafood & Chicken - New place, we enjoyed eating here and it was tasty with good value for the money. Located in a stand-alone building on some main north-south road up from the beach just south of Wal-Mart. Parking spaces right off the road are available but might be a challenge to get out of, there's parking on the side and rear of the building from the driveway on the north side. The parking in the rear is ample. Arrival: ~7:30 PM My wife and I arrived during what I would consider to be a dinner rush. The dining room was only about 10 percent full of locals and tourists. This place is new and all the furniture and décor looks new and is very clean. The place was the size of a large fast food restaurant and had probably 20 tables to sit 4 people each. There were tables and booths and some outside patio seating as well. Plenty of TV's to see any sports that might interest you. My wife and I ordered po' boy combinations. I tried their sweet tea and it had a light taste of Tannic acid, which is the mark of mistakes in preparation. The fountain soda machine worked as expected and the Dr. Pepper and Sprite were acceptable. I got the Mahi po' boy, served warm, with a light coat of tartar sauce on the toasted sub roll which was nice and helped to contain the sandwich. It wasn't a huge roll of bread but a nice flatter roll that was well done to serve to contain the goodies inside. If you expect your po' boy to exist inside a massive loaf, this isn't for you. I liked it. The Mahi was well cooked, maybe just a bit to much, and slathered in probably to much Teriyaki sauce. The amount of Mahi in this sandwich for $8.99 was amazing. Pineapple topped the protein in order to pile on the sweetness. I didn't get much from the pineapple within the teriyaki but the sandwich was a success. I got a side of nicely seasoned fries that were fried to have a slight crispiness but still malleable. The fries were good. My wife got the fried whitefish po' boy on the same type roll I got. She neglected to ask for no tartar because the girls at the counter stated there wasn't any sauce on the po' boys. They, as the entire restaurant, were new and had little idea what was going on with the food yet. It wasn't a terrible inconvenience but something I suspect would change over time. The whitefish was fried well and the seasoning in the breading of the taste I had was outstanding. There was also plenty, more than a person should eat in one sitting. I'm 370 so come hungry if you want to finish this. The only complaint my wife had it that the fried fish was just a little oily. I had no complaints. My wife got a side of mash potatoes and gravy. She tells me they were bland and ended up adding more salt and pepper than she liked. So this side wasn't stellar. Overall I liked this place and I could see myself eating here a couple times a month for lunch if there was one located in my town. The price is on the high side of a single dollar sign rating but the taste and portions are large enough to justify it. We paid ~20 dollars and were happy with the expense.

Searched Yelp for good places to eat and came across this place. Reviews looked good so we gave it a shot. Food and prices were really good. I had the Island Ya Ya and I would recommend it. My husband had the Mozilla Sandwich and the shrimp was amazing on the sandwich. Would definitely return again to eat here.

Excellent food!! We had one of the platters and it was great. Will be a staple for us when we visit the gulf moving forward. Can't beat the price.

Good music.

Fantastic! We got delivery and it was fast and friendly. We ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all great. They give good size portions and at an affordable price. Wish I was down here longer I would definitely go back. For sure a mojo's fan!
